Abby Burke is from Southern Maryland where she played for the Jets club program starting in 5th grade, making it to many tournament championship s.

In high school she played for St. Mary’s Ryken in the WCAC. While there, she was a 4 year Varsity starter on Midfield.

Through her time at Jets and her high school career, she earned a scholarship to play at Wingate. At Wingate she kept up her same standard of remaining a 4 year Varsity starter for the Division 1 program. During her career there her and her team worked to create a level of success the women’s program had not yet achieved. They made it to the NCAA tournament her junior and senior year, ranked as high as 8th in the nation and during her senior year  went undefeated in conference play and won the conference tournament. She was also recognized as an All-Tournament Player.

Now in Easton, she is continuing her lacrosse career through coaching and has most recently accepted the position at the SSPP Varsity girl’s head coach.
