Katie played lacrosse in high school at Howard High School in Howard County. from 2010 – 2014. While she was there, she was named lacrosse player of the year. She was later named one of Howard High School’s All Decade Players.

After high school, she went on to play collegiately at Old Dominion University from 2014-2017. During her time with the Monarchs, the team made one appearance in the NCAA Women’s Division 1 Tournament.
Kati started coached while in college for the Norfolk Neptunes and upon returning to Maryland, coached alongside M&D Club President, Chris Robinson, for the M&D 2019 Black team. She currently coaches the defense for Parkside High School and has been there from 2020 – 2023.
