Coaching women’s lacrosse has been a huge part of Laurie’s life for the past 14 years. She grew up in
Baltimore County, Maryland and played lacrosse at Catonsville High school. Her family and her moved to the Eastern Shore in 2004. She has two daughters, Shelby and Kylie. When her youngest daughter, Kylie, began playing lacrosse in 2009, she got involved coaching at the rec level for Queen Anne’s County. This ultimately led her to coaching at the club level where she has been since 2011. She joined LBC in 2013, where she coached players in 5th through 8th grade. She believes that every season can be a successful one by simply staying on course and putting in the work to improve. The desire to win, to improve as a player, and believe in each other is something she pushes all of her athletes to feel in everything they do.
